One Response to European Parliament get social mauling

  1. I disagree – no government should be monitoring social networks.

If government wants to know what ‘the people’ think then it should have proper, real, accountable processes in place.

What is particularly disgusting about the EU is the huge resources it takes from the people to present its side of everything (so at our expenses), while we (the people) have to counter this in our own time at our own expense.

A similar problem exists at national level – but is substantially reduced by easy access to an MP – an MP who is right near the top of the domestic political tree.

    MEPs are worthless.
